I was a sony w700i user, and then bought Nokia 5800 XM because of the hype.Sadly, the sound quality and loudness of this phone, doesn't come even near my old phone, the Sony w700i(2006). Even the headset supplied(AD-54) is of very poor quality. It doesn't give that good sound, also there is nothing like Bass,etc. which was there in sony.
My surprise is everywhere i see nokia promoting this lies so heavily, that it is the best music phone .. but it never says anything about the comparison to peers like Sony or Ipod.
I am very very disappointed with this phone, it wasn't even ready and had lots of bugs which were fixed in the firmware upgrades. Still, the sound is no match for the W700i. Nokia is only interested in Sales and nothing else. I visited the Nokia Customer care almost 8 times in 5 months and also the priority center, but they were only interested in formatting my phone and handing it back to me!
Atleast can anybody suggest me which is a good headset to use with this crappy phone, where i can have the loudness and clarity of W700i or Ipod? .i know this is some face saving but i haven't got money yet to buy a new phone every 6 months, and want to know a good temporary solution which is atleast near to the expected sound levels...
