If it is for entertainment, multimedia, etc. I would suggest Android or iOS, I will never recommend Symbian for any of the tasks, Blackberry is you want to take care of business as well.
I would say that Android beats iOS if not JailBroken but iOS beats Android if jailbroken...
iOS has better apps, Android is more open...
