I asked for a treadmill for Christmas and I don't know which one I want my parents to get me. They said they'll get it, but they have a limited budget for the treadmill ($400 or less). I also asked for an elliptical but theres no way I could get a decent elliptical and a treadmill for less than $400 together.
I found some ProForm CrossWalk treadmills on Sears which were $399 with CrossWalk handles which I think are similar to the handles on ellipticals. I'm not really sure what the CrossWalk thing is for.
The two treadmills I'm considering are the ProForm CrossWalk Sport Treadmill and the ProForm CrossWalk 390 Treadmill. They seem really similar and I'm not sure which one's better. I also saw some $284 treadmills on Walmart.com, but those don't seem reliable plus it was way too narrow.
My brother and I are using the treadmill to train for Track and Cross Country at about 8 1/2mph. My dog will also be using it at about 3-6mph. My mom and dad are also going to use it at a walking/jogging pace and so will my sisters when they're occasionally home.
Which CrossWalk should I get (If neither one is good, what other treadmill under $400 would you reccommend)? Would it be durable under my circumstances? And what's the purpose of the CrossWalk handles?
