I had a magnavox dvd recorder for a few years which worked well for the most part but the timer stopped working and was getting to be more of a pain to record stuff off tv and copy vhs tapes. So today I got a Magnavox vhs/dvd combo and I dubbed the first vhs tape and it worked fine and was dubbing the 2nd vhs tape just fine but keeps bringing up errors that it can't record on the disc when it recorded it just won't finalize! Is this problem normal with all vhs-dvd machines? and would I be better off returning this piece of crap and going with sony?
