Okay, so I will soon be getting my first car, a Volkswagen GTI, which was chosen due to its compelling mix of practicality and sportiness.
However, I'm slightly torn as to what transmission I should get, the 6-speed Manual, or the DSG with Tiptronic.
The DSG has the advantage of probably being easier to use, and gear changes can be controlled by the paddle shifter. (Also, Launch control
)
However, I'm also afraid that If I get the automatic transmission, I won't learn how to drive a stick properly, which is something I really want to do. Additionally, going with the automatic seems like the "easy way out", for lack of a better term.
