Which year of the Volvo 850 is overall best?

I'm thinking of getting a Volvo 850, but I want to know whether the 1995, 1996, or 1997 is best overall (reliability, cost, ect)

Any recommendations? how about the older S70 (1998 or 1999) which out of all the older Volvos is the best (especially for a teen driver?)
