I agree! I was reading this book called, 'An essential guide for serious singers and musicians.' It goes into details how false celebrities are and how they pretend to have no views just to remain in the public gaze! Everything about them is false down to the plastic surgery that they have done to themselves. The book does not even spare the rappers it also gives them a good beating!!!!

I do not agree that celebrity lives are a waste of time, I do not agree that showing their lives is a waste of time (if they are willing), because that is what they sign up for and it entertains the masses.
What I do disagree with is putting people in the spot light that do not wish to be there and invading their privacy. This is a waste of the celebrities lives, the masses morals and should not be shown anywhere.
 
No because it cheers people up to talk about lives and celebs lives are perfect to talk about.

I agree with you...Especially when they are asked about
their political beliefs and they go on a tirade then,
ultimately stick their foot in their mouth.

It depends what you mean when you say that. If the celebrity doesnt like that life, then yes it is a waste of time. If they enjoy it, then good on them. It's their life after all.
Anyway, if we didnt have celebritys we wouldnt have any magazines and remember popstars count as celebrities aswell, so if they were a waste of time, then we would have no music.
Anyway, this question is kind of like asking if our lives are a waste of time. If you have a crappy life, then yes it is a waste of time vice versa.
