Who is mary sue????????????

"Mary-Sue" is a term applied to characters who are portrayed as "perfect" or over idealized...

For example, a character with no (or very limited) realistic character flaws. One who's flaws are always excused... one that is abnormally talented or special without any viable explanation...

Basically, just a character that isn't flawed enough to be realistic, dynamic... and have depth

The term originates from a parody that was done about this concept, the purposefully over-idealized girl in that parody being called "Mary Sue"...

This is also shortened to "Sue" sometimes...

Male "Mary-Sues" are sometimes refereed to as "Gary Stu's"
