an interesting life? He like was a writer or journalist and he did alot of different stuff like he was a ritz socialite who i think also had a column? im not sure but i do know he was famous for doing a lot of random stuff! Like i think he randomly pitched a baseball or played on some baseball team or something. This was in like the first half of the 20th century
Basically this man was around in the first half of the 20th century (1900s-1950s) i know he wrote for a magazine i believe and writing all about his adventures and what he did. He was like a jack of all trades, he was a pro athlete and pitched for baseball i think and other stuff he is really famous his name is like a house hold name i just cant think of what it is

I think you're talking about George Plimpton.
He spent a few days apiece on several different sports teams and wrote a book about it.
It was the 60s and 70s, dear, not the "early" 20th centruy.
