He -- and many others were too dumb to see where this would lead. It's great that they were making it possible for the low income to be home owners, but now the whole global economy is suffering and they should be held accountable.
"These two entities—Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—are not facing any kind of financial crisis," said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. "The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."
O.K., Barney! So we didn't put "more pressure" on "these companies" and look at all this "affordable housing" that we now enjoy.
