a friend told me Derek Stepan? If it was then that would be a mistake, because that kid is skilled.
yea im talking about just for the skills. So it was totally random? no drafting?
 
The only rookie chosen in the All-Star Draft was Jeff Skinner of the Carolina Hurricanes, who was an injury replacement. Besides that, all the rookies were randomly split into two teams with two captains. The captains were Taylor Hall of the Edmonton Oilers and Logan Couture of the San Jose Sharks. Taylor Hall's squad won a puck toss and got to choose which team (Lidstrom or Staal) they wanted to be a part of for today's festivities. Taylor Hall chose Team Lidstrom.
