This Tuesday, the United States will elect their next president. Finally, all the talking will end and we can learn the results. Personally, I’m tired of all the noise. Both sides think the other side is the worst thing to ever happen in the history of humanity. It gets annoying.
Who is going to win? I think it’s going to be Barack Obama. Why? I trust Nate Silver at the 538 blog. As many of you know, Silver’s a former baseball writer who now mostly talks politics. I can trust a man with a sporting background. I just do.
Currently, he gives Obama about an 85% chance to win. As the final day arrives, expect that number to go up to above 90%.
Maybe Silver is wrong but I doubt it. Back in 2008, he nailed all but one of the states. He’d have to really, really be off base for Mitt Romney to win it all.
