Yours or the manager? I live in a house and pay my rent and mow my lawn. We were recently involved in a huge ice storm that did a lot of damage and I have trees all over my yard. Is it the manager's responsibility to have those trees removed, the city's, or ours? I haven't said or done anything yet because I wanted to make sure whose responsibility it is. I saw the manager picking up trees next door to mine, but he never did ours. He owns about 12 houses. Thanks if you know the answer to this.
I am getting a lot of varied answers. I think the important thing is: Please only answer if you know 100% about the answer to this question. I don't see anything in my contract where I am held accountable above and beyond rent, house and yard maintenance. These are huge trees and the expense would be enormous.
I called my manager and found out the answer. He is responsible. Not ME. But thanks for all the wonderful answers and for all the help. I will be choosing best answer tomorrow.
