why am i having problems conecting to wireless internet with my ps3?

the ps3 is connecting to the internet, the wireless i have requires a log in and after typing the correct password i get told i have made a 400 bad request and the request line contained invalid characters following the protocol string. Is this a problem with my ps3 or all ps3's the wireless connection is fine.
