I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima SE. When I am going about 40 and apply the brakes gently to slow down the right front makes a high pitch squeling sound for about a second then goes away for the rest of the braking time. It also squeaks when I make a sharp left handed turn at a slower speed when I don't apply any brakes. Its sounds more like a high pitched chirp when I am turning. What could bake making theses sound??? I know its in the brakes. The brakes and rotors are about 30,000 miles old. I'm not a heavy breaker. I also got the right front wheel bearing replaced recently. Please let me know your opinion. Every bit of info will help narrow it down!
