Why are my cats so greedy?

Sorry for the stupid question, but does anybody know any reason why my cats can't stop eating?

They all get wormed regularly, and the vet can't find anything wrong with them, but all they seem to do is eat, one of them in particular. You can't go near the kitchen without them following you (and tripping you over, as cats do) and when my husband and I eat they do everything they can to try and distract us and steal our food.

Honestly, it's getting ridiculous, we feed them the recommended amount of food for their sizes, as well as treats, and it's still not enough! Does anybody else have greedy cats? How do you get them to stop being so greedy??
If you actually read my question, you'd see that I DO give them food, smartass.
 
u can't give in to them and don't give them food unless it is there time to eat and sooner or later they will get used to not eating all the time

my cat used to do that good luck with it.
 
I have one very greedy cat and one who we have to literally hold over her food as shes far too distractable!
George the greedy cat will follow us in to the kitchen everytime we go in there, he has his regular meal times though and we stick to it, he just gets a tickle if its not dinner time :)
