Why are my facebook photo uploads posting with double captions?

I have an LG Cosmo phone and recently enabled facebook text messaging on it. I am able to upload photos fine to my "wall" but every time I send a photo with a text caption, it ends up double posting on my wall. For instance if I post a picture of my friend and say "This is Mary." My photo ends up looking like "This is Mary. This is Mary." Does anyone know how to stop this? It is annoying having to go edit the caption every time I post something new and I have found nothing else on the web about this issue.
