Why Are Popular Movies Not On Blu-Ray?

for example. LOTR, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Titanic; just a few of really popular movies people like myself love, and would purchase on Blu-ray in a heartbeat. But no announcements whatsoever for really big movies are planned, I mean why? Don't the movie industry know they would sell well? They no longer need to worry about the format war between HDDVD, why don't they plan it?

Its just a matter of time. As the price of the player falls. More people will buy them and there will be more demand for the classics.
