Why are some photos missing from my Temporary Internet Files?

Hi

I'm using Mozilla Firefox the latest version. Recently on facebook my girlfriend uploaded pictures of her and another guy, i looked through them once. 5 minutes later i tried to look again but she had deleted them.

I tried searching through my mozilla firefox temproary internet files by typing About:cache in the URL, i looked at over 1300 photos, however i could not find them. I found all the other photos that i had looked through that day on facebook and all other webpages, but not these few ones i was looking for.

Why is this and how cna i retrieve them?

You can't retrieve them, they are gone. When you went to the web page again, the updated one without the pictures, Firefox also updated the cache of the web page to the new one, removing the outdated page and pictures stored in the cache.
