why arent many sony ericsson phones available in the united states?

how come they are sold mostly in europe and asia? why arent they buying samsung, lg, or apple products. sony has the best looking phones... no doubt...
 
Thats because they are not marketed or trademarked as "Sony Ericsson". That has been changed to "SONY".
 
Because LG, Samsung, HTC, Motorola & Apple all make much better phones. Sony makes a lot of very good products. Their cell phones & laptops are not among them.
