Why aren't there subtitles for foreign language segments in an English movie I

downloaded via Torrent? I downloaded a movie that is an English speaking movie. There are many parts to the movie that have foreign language conversations. From the length of these conversations, I am sure there are supposed to be subtitles to convey what is being said, but I do not see them. Can someone explain why this happens?

Subtitles are part of a separate file that were not included in your download. It may be the fault of the uploader, who failed to include them, or you may have only downloaded the movie file without the subtitle file.
