An integral part of martial arts is the study and use of various weapons such as swords, throwing stars nunchucks, staffs, daggers, darts, etc. In order to truly embrace mixed martial arts, shouldn't competitors be permitted to use the weapons related to the marital art disciplines they've learned? Does anyone know of a fight league that does allow the use of weapons? Nobody is talking about fighting to the death. Competitors would just be able to apply their years of training with martial arts weapons in direct competition with each other. Basic MMA rules would stay the same with submissions, knockouts, or judges decision being used to earn a victory.
