So I keep downloading digital alarm clocks for my laptops, however none of them work in the sense that why they go off, they don't play the music of my choice. In fact they make no sound at all. They work fine when I test them but if i leave my computer alone for several hours (when I sleep) the alarm will turn on, but no sound will come out. This happens on almost every single alarm I use. The only ones that work are the ones that force an external media player to open.
However alarms that play songs themselves will not make any sounds.
This is very baffling to me. If anyone knows the reason please help.
