I called T-Mobile today to ask for an unlock code. I'm not a current customer, but I have my old phone from when I was. I told them that, and they said that's okay. They asked for my name, state, area code, old phone number, but came up with nothing when I gave it to them. I even gave them the number on the SIM card that was still in the phone. I didn't give them my SS number because they asked for the whole thing and that made me nervous They couldn't find any information on me. They told me there is no one in my area code who's bill was in my name. Aparently the fact that I switched about 5 years ago has nothing to do with it, they should have info "since the beginning of time." Yes, the bill was in my name. When I switched to AT&T, I kept the same number. That may be a reason. Can anyone tell me why T-Mobile wasn't able to bring up ANY information on me?
