Why can't they stop child porn from being posted to newsgroups?

I discovered newsgroups 6 months ago, when a website referenced a newsgroup.

I was shocked to see all the child porn being posted. My ISP told me to report it to Canada's www.cybertip.ca, which I did. Sometimes the child porn is clearly labeled "14 year old ...", so you can avoid it, but often you get surprised because it is mixed in with legitimate posts.

The search engines like Google and Yahoo are very good at screening out child porn on the WWW, but my ISP told me they don't screen newsgroup posts?

I haven't seen any sex with children or any kids under 10, but the laws of Canada (see link below) say any posing of someone under 18 for a sexual purpose is illegal.

This is the 2nd time exposed to child porn. The 1st time was when a porn virus downloaded the really bad child porn onto my Dad's computer, which luckily I was able to delete. (Yes, I know it is still on the hard drive)
