Why did this guy avoid eye contact with me when we passed each other when he seemed

interested? he stared at me a lot in class last semester were in college i even heard him tell his friend whispering that he likes me but when we passed each other in the hall way next semester he would not look me in the eye AT ALL!!!! then all of a sudden he starts like smiling and like blushing he looked really happy and nervous but was smiling into think air no one else was there does he like me or no what can that mean why was he smiling but not looking at me other times he will stare at me when i pass by him and he thinks im not looking and like this one time he stared at me as i passed him and he wouldnt even turn away from where he saw me pass him he still ahd his head turned in the smae direction like a statue even after i was already gONEE why did he freeze what was he most likely thikning at that MOMENT HAHAHA AND IF YOU THINK HE IS SHY WHY IS HE SOO HANDSOMEE
 
He's probably just shy. If he told he friend he likes you, and from the rest of what you wrote, there isn't much else that it can be.

There are shy, good-looking people in the world. You should probably find a way to socialize with him, through class or something.
