Why do Americans call it "Soccer", but Europeans call it "Football"?
I never really understood why. In Europe they call what is referred to as "soccer" Football, but in America they refer to it as Soccer, but the sport they call football is actually throwing it with your hands. Why is that? Where did the name soccer originate from and how did american football get its name?
