Why do anti-gay bigots get their undies in a twist when we defend ourselves?

1. Lauren Ashley said gays deserve to be put to death.

2. People get angry, they call her a bigot, amongst other things.

3. The anti-gay crowd tells them that they have no right to be angry since she's entitled to her opinion.

Yeah, she's entitled to her opinion. NO ONE is disputing that. All they're doing is exercising THEIR right to THEIR opinion. Why is she allowed to have the opinion that gays deserve death, but no one is allowed to have the opinion that she's an evil bigoted skank?
Miss Cherokee what the hell is wrong with you? This woman said gays deserve to be executed. How much more bigoted can you get?

why don't you start a web page on that topic. and blog on it. There a lot of people that would love to follow you on that. While you are at it include some of the other anti-gay bigots out there. I would love to read tt.

what are you talking about? You can have that opinion of her.

On earth, that is. And when you wind up in Hell...which you WILL, by the way...then it will be too late.

the horror comes at the moment of death.

If I had my way, I would burn all the gays alive just like the jews in europe.

Its my opinion, of course

Because people are hypocrites, and don't care about logic that goes against their beliefs. It sucks, but all we can do is defend ourselves, and our rights, and educate people.

Because us defending ourselves is detrimental to their argument, particularly since we have evidence and they just have opinions.

Does she have money? Money buys protection from even the highest offices that's how the country runs, you're rich no one can say anything about you, you're poor and you're automatically the bad guy.

people are aloud to have the opinion that shes a bigot skank but do you notice how its the anti gays who say shes just voicing her opinion quite shady if you ask me

The simplest answer is that they get very angry because they know it is a battle they are loosing. Like every single other civil rights issue in the history of man the people on the oppressing side are going to get most angry when they see their cause slipping.

As bad as it seems and I know at times it seems bad every day it gets a little better. Just think of it this way, twenty years ago no one would have even thought to ask her the question and if she had made a comment like that no one would have even thought it was strange. Now at least she can be publicly reprimanded for it even if the "national organization for marriage," doesn't like it.

They don't like to hear contradictory opinions, simple as that. Especially reasonable ones. I think people like this kind of know how ridiculous their arguments are, so they get all defensive when people call them out on it.

I've just learned to accept that people are irrational and close-minded.
