Why do bands/groups tour in Europe all the time?

All the popular artist's bands etc. are always touring in Europe. Why is this? I think it's bs, is there a reason why they do this? For example, I was looking up Limp Bizkit, Disturbed etc they are all in Europe.

Well, a lot of the American bands that I listen to (The Strokes, Kings of Leon, etc.) tour in Europe a lot also. This is because:
1. Europeans listen to American bands. So they go there for money!!!
2. Bands like the ones that I listen to are almost more popular in Europe because rock music is more popular there than here. Most of the people I know listen to the music that is on the popular radio stations such as Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ke$ha. So, bands could get a lot of people to go to their shows in Europe as compared to the US.

so they can reach their entire fan base, and if you were young and famous with lots of energy wouldnt you wanna go raise a lil hell in europe?? like if i was famous europe would be more a vacation than a buisness trip to me lol

Because if they only toured in America, they wouldn't get as much money, and they would be pretty much alienating their foreign fanbase.

Why not, dude? I imagine many popular bands have fans all over the world, especially in Europe. Wouldn't you wanna tour that continent to play in front of your fans there?
