What did find beautiful in those plastic toys fake trees, ugly flashing casino-looking lights in front of your houses?

Christians spent days to make those silly decorations !!

We're not even Christian but my family puts up lights on the house because its something we can all do together. Not everything has to have a deep-rooted reason behind it.
 
To show everyone that materialism really is the true meaning of Christmas.

I have to agree. It is so tacky to put that stuff outside your house. Inside is fine.

Christians, pagans and atheists are no more ashamed of these practices than muslims when they visit the pagan Kaba a sanctuary dedicated to one or more pagan deities before Christ.

Ultimately, all religions derive from pagan roots and it would be both ignorant and foolish to deny this
