they need lose weight? but they don't do anything about it they always complain day after day year after year!! is it really that hard to exercise and watch what you eat???? I exercise everyday for at least half an hour and I'm busy as hell. I watch what I eat. People act like it's hard to lose weight. It's not! I used to be overweight so I know how it feels but one day I said enough is enough and changed all my bad habits cold turkey. It's been great ever since. i just think some people are plain lazy right

I have this problem. Last year I lost 45 lbs. I then restarted taking my anti-depressants which made me depressed and I tried to kill myself. From then on I gained all of it back -_- Took me 6 months, but I'm on the way back. Taking a quick detour to quit smoking. Believe or not quitting smoking is SO much easier!

For me, food is an addiction similar to smoking, specially if you have an addictive personality. For some who are emotional eaters, eating food makes them feel good (I'm pretty sure it has to do with the chemicals in the brain). So at the moment when you're eating you feel great, but immediately after you feel guilty and fat. It's a viscious circle that keeps repeating until you finally get sick of.

Also, when you first start an exercise program or diet it's always a hard adjustment and it takes time to get used to. People who are easily frustrated give up right away when they don't see results.

Relax. Maybe not everyone is as determined as you are.

studies show that trying to lose weight (eat healthy and exercise) is harder than overcoming a heroin addiction. So yes it is that hard. It is usually a mental block that keeps them from doing what they need to do and most of the time past emotional trauma ties in.

Actually, sometimes it can be that hard to lose weight. I worked out nearly everyday for more than an hour and still struggled to lose weight. Why? Because I was on three different medications. Once I went off of them, the weight melted off. But I could only go off them for a short period of time because I have medical issues. I'm not lazy. I still work out every day and I've never eaten badly. Not everyone is you. So please stop shoving your success in the faces of those for whom your way doesn't work. Every body is different.
