why do i have to push in on my blackberry storm touchscreen?

i just recently got a blckberry storm and whenever i go on it i have to literally push down instead of normally " touching" the screen. can i change this?
 
I had a blackberry storm 2 a year ago and that is how mine was to. The people are Verizon told me that was normal. I did a lot of butt dialing with that phone, just to warn you! I have neve butt dialed with my iPhone. Oh and I don't think there is anyway to change it! Good luck
 
I think that version on blackberry is like that for everyone and there is no way to change it!
 
That's an integral part of the phone. It's for people who want to go to a touchscreen phone but are so used to the feel of clicking a button. It's just a short jolt of vibration when you put so much pressure on the screen. I believe you can lower the sensation. I ditched my blackberry storm for an android phone since its infinitely better than Blackberry.
