Why do I reject every guy that shows interest in me?

I get hit on and flirted with by guys who I initially am not interested in. I have high expectations-always. I know I am too busy for a relationship right now. I have been hurt by a guy--not cause of cheating but because I got too close to him emotionally, physically, and mentally. He would not commit because of his family and I am/was very upset. We get along and are friends but the hurt is still there. From my view, 90% of guys in there 20's and possibly 30's are just chasing tail and that's it---they are stupid and can't keep up with me on their best day so I just don't give them a chance. Should I be patient or just worry about myself for the time being?? Anyone with a similar situation?? Give me some perspective.
