why do my chrysler crossfire hesitate when i come to a stop?

I have a 2004 chrysler crossfire that seem to stall when I get to a light or stop sign when I get ready to pull off it hesitate. The check engine light came on but when I went to have it checked it went off.I did notice if I put 93 grade gas in it don't do it as bad.This also started happen when I used lower grade gas in it that is when I notice the problem but the guy that checked said it sounds like the transmission is going bad.Can someone please help me.?
 
If it only happens when you have the brakes on, then check the vacuum booster on the power brakes for a leaking diaphragm.
