Over the last few hikes I've done, I've been experiencing excruciating foot pain on the arch of my feet. So much, that I had to turn back around on two of my last three hikes. The last hike I just push through it, even switching shoes (I was carrying the other pair in my pack) and even went a mile barefooted, but my feet didn't hurt while I was hiking with my naked feet. I've even finished my last hike, because after a few miles, my feet didn't hurt so much anymore. They don't even hurt going down hill. I've never experienced this kind of pain tho. It is located right on the arch of my feet (mainly my right one), and it only happens when going uphill. I though it was my boots, but it happened with all 3 of my hiking shoes. I've done many hikes over 16 miles per-day, up many mountains, but I've never had this kind of pain. I know I am not flat food, because I have two friends who are, and their symptoms aren't the same I have. Like I said, I only suffer when going up hill. Why? Did I torn something? And what can I do to prevent it and fix it?
