Why do people always whine when the sun is not shining?

I am getting really sick and tired of it. It can be a nice breeze blown rain and about 75 degrees and people whine and complain. Yet it can be 10 degrees and the sun is out and they are happy like it is a nice day. 10 degrees is not a nice day I don't care if the sun is shining or not. I freeze my a$$. At 10 degrees there might as well be no sun because it is not serving a purpose anyway.
 
I prefer when the sun isnt shining, I'm a redhead and I get sunburnt horribly easy. So it can stay behind the clouds for all I care=D
