I drink like 1 bear everyday. I used to smoke cigerettes but that was too addictive and too expensive. I still smoke weed sometimes with my friends. I've expiremented with coke before and ecstasy. I can see how coke and ecstasy is bad. Look alcohol is not bad if you have 1 beer or acasionally get drunk (maybe once a month or once every 2 months). I smoke marijuana like once a week but not much at all. Marijuana is illegal partially because it's a drug but also for an excuse to illegalize hemp. Hemp is a great building material that could solve all of the sustanibility problems in our world. Talk about a cash crop, hemp makes clothes, rope, paper, food, plastic just to name a few. In the 1920's and 30's The US government and the oil companies (standard oil) parted together to make hemp illegal so the petrolium industry could do all of the stuff that hemp does but ruins the enviornment along with it. So they made hemp illegal by using marijuana as a cover up. So they legalized alcohol once marijuana was illegal. There is no proven fact that marijuana will kill you, it probably has the same effects of tabacco on your lungs because of the smoke. you can look this up online. But look the US government is in it for the money, you would be suprized on who pays for the presidential campains, usually weapons manufacturers and oil companies. The US government has a way of controlling our culture, our media, and our minds. Maybe you should put that in your essay.
