In a republic those in power rule as they see fit. Now the democrats are in power and they are ruling as they see fit. The republicans have no right to complain since the democrats are simply doing what the republicans believe in.

Right?

Even though it is called the Republican Party it doesn't really follow small "r" republicanism to any real extent anymore than the Democratic Party does.

Republicans in fact are typically on the side of protecting "minority rights" when the minority in question is the rich.

Wrong. In a Democracy the majority rules as they see fit. In a republic its much more about a constitution

The ones who complain are hoping to hide that Republicans are responsible for the theft of the wealth of the US to the point of "The Bush Depression"

The Republicans have no right to complain because they just had 8 years to try and do something right. Now it's the Democrats turn. Come now children, everyone deserves a turn.
