...our country?
Cutting taxes is not a 'solution'.

Complaining about class warfare is not a 'solution'.

Hoping to see Obama fail is not a 'solution.

Having a PLAN *is* a solution.

So why haven't the Republicans come up with a workable plan for what's dogging our country?
Dude: Jindal made himself to be the laughing stock of the GOP--after he gave his party's counter speech.

He didn't offer the American people anything but a good dose of comedy and laughter.
Madd Texan: Funny how the Republicans changed the rules--thus preventing the Democrats from ever debating or participating in much of the sessions which had successfully marginalized the Democratic Party.

Please tell me that you're against the idea of the shoe being on the other foot *this* time time around...?
Lttlehrs:

Cutting taxes is what led to massive deficit-spending by both the GOP *and* the Bush administration.

It also led to the creation of Big Government--which none of Bush's supporters (or the GOP's) seemed to mind.

On the issue of getting a bailout by the government--you might want to talk about the banks and the mortgage companies getting billions of your taxpaying dollars and showing little for it--in the end.

Sucks to be a pawn in this little game, doesn't it? But this is PRECISELY what the Republican Party and George Bush caused as a result of deregulating the industries in question and forgetting all about traditional conservatism and fiscal restraint.

But you can't the Democrats for this. After all, they have to spend billions more undoing the god-awful mess that the GOP and Bush created while in control of every aspect of our nation's government and spending apertures.
