Why do the liberals always *complain* about the USA's involvement?

in war? War has been around since the dawn of time and *MAN* still fights. Isn't war sometimes necessary to wage? If a liberal saw a brutal beating going on, wouldn't they step in to help the underdog?

My theory is that-- and this will sound bad but I mean it in the best sense, seriously-- Liberals tend to be more inward looking and self centered while Conservatives tend to be more outward looking and world centered.
This translates to Liberals/Democrats being more adept as domestic policy which you see with policies like TARP and Universal Healthcare while Conservatives/Republicans tend to be more adept at foreign policy which you see in such things as the STAR WARS initiative and the reaction to 9/11.
The trick is to understand that both sides have their merits and flaws and that neither one can exist without the other. This is why you will find that a vast majority of emergency and military personnel are Conservative and most people in the academic/white collar industries are Liberal.
As such, your question asks why Liberals complain about American involvement in overseas conflicts. Its because they don't quite grasp the complexities of foreign affairs. That's not to say that they cant, but their world consists of desks and making deadlines for reports not looking for enemy patrols and busting drug rings. On the other hand Conservatives don't quite grasp the complexities of domestic policies and thus oppose things like Universal Healthcare.

baby you been drinkin on dat jim beam? i ain't no liberal, no democrat, no republican, but dat common sense gon tell me that we been dumpin so much money into dat war it be like diggin a big hole in the middle of the desert and throwin it all in there and burnin it. and where we gettin now baby? tell me how da war gon help us?

And seriously, oh here's a thought, why don't we put that money toward ending world hunger, health care, research for terminal illness, etc., etc., etc.
