I hate people who bang on about being born in the wrong body. So what, I was born in the wrong city, I should have been born in Honalulu but I wasn't. Big deal get over it.

wow. you were born in the wrong city? so move. you're not having an identity crisis and living in a body that you hate, and you can't just "move away" from it >.<
Gender identity is something everyone takes for granted -- unless it doesn't line up with your chromosomes. Kids raised as the opposite sex always know that something is wrong, even with surgery and hormone therapy. Those of us in alignment cannot imagine what it's like to not be. Maybe something like seeing everything in reverse, knowing it's backward, and never being able to get used to it.
