Back in the late seventies, my mother applied for a job, and got one. Feminism wasn't necessary, it's just that some people wanted a gold star for doing what everyone else was doing. The person who spends all day at home, should do the chores. Most houses can be cleaned/maintained in less than two hours. A regular job is 8 hours. No one wants to come home from work to do more work. I remember about two years ago, when I had a live-in girlfriend. It was a Friday night, and I was at the bar after work with some friends, when I got a call from her. She was to host a party at our place, in two hours, but she was going to be working an extra hour and a half of overtime at her job. The apartment was a mess. Not dirty, just untidy. I rushed home and cleaned the place up for her, and was back at the bar in time for the fifth round. She got home, set out the food, and everything went well for her. THAT is teamwork. THAT is what people should be doing for each other.
