Why does 4G Samsung Galaxy S3 use so much data? Mine uses around 3mb per minute?
1. Check the Browser agent setting (it might be rendering a desktop page view). Preferably use Dolphin HD, free more powerful, more control. 2. Install some free app to track application vise data usage. (search for data manager in Google play store). Based on that block/ restrict access to them. 3. Check if auto-update is switched on for apps in Play Store. 4. Switch off Auto-Sync to reduce the data usage in Sync Settings. 5. 1GB is definitely enough for a phone running on 2G, not 4G, even if are using for mail check.
