I live in Makati and has once a pair of blue fighting fish and they both live together. I tried to put guppies with them and nothing happened. A few weeks, the female die and our maid put it in an old aquarium with 2 guppies (one is pregnant). The fighting fish don't fight them at all. Later that day, I bought many fishes such as 2 pink zebras, barbs, other kinds of goldfishes, 6 pregnant guppies, mollies, platys and 3 janitor fishes with one shrimp from a pet store in Manila. All of them have different color and pattern. I first put the male fighting fish in a fish bowl and put all the fishes in an aquarium. A day passed and put again the fighting fish and noticed that it is only staying in a wider place with many plants. Why is that so? Can I add a female fighting fish or get rid of the male? By the way, they are surviving for a week since I bought them until today.
