Why does everybody find Zach Galifianakis so funny?

I can't believe I'm the only person that thinks this guy is overrated and untalented..

He has nothing interesting, deep, or clever to say, same shallow material of every other B comedian from the last 20 years, and his delivery is that of any want-to-be smart*** bearded guy you would find sitting in front of a coffee shop.

Hes really rude to his guest and audience to the point its just awkward, not funny or clever..

I tried giving him a chance, I really did, but I fail to find any substance. So what is it thats so funny about him? Please tell me what you find so humorous about him?

He's not funny because of his "substance." True comedians don't need substance to be funny. They are just FUNNY human beings. If you have to read into it that much, then your sense of humor is in fact just a list of checkpoints that you place on all people you consider funny. v_v Not all comedians have to be deep, and not all comedians need a set-up. Zach is a personality. That's why he's famous.
