...been discovered by science? We are constantly being told that the great scientific discoveries are as told in the Koran. But the strange thing is Koranic scholars never broadcast these things before science. So the website below tells us that certain words in the Koran tell of Dark matter. There is a very confused article on the number of planets and an even more confused one about exploding stars. The foretelling of exploding stars seems to be prophesied by the words "The star setteth". Lol. But we never heard BEFORE science that the Koran told of these things. Why? Is it because the Koran scholars are simply hunting through their book to see what can be made to fit?
@Shine. My point is that if the Koran really foretold these thing surely their scholars should have been telling scientists for centuries what to look for. Only they havn't. I wasa wondering if any KOranic sholar might put me right.
@shine again. Read your long reply. You are doing nothing more than proving my point about vague generalities. If they mean as you say why did the Koranic scholars not tell scientists what to look for BEFORE they found it rather than making things fit afterwards.
p.s re moonlight being reflected sunlight it is probable that Anaxagoras described that in about 500 BC as he knew about eclipses so the Koran knowing about it 1000 years later is not surprising
@Monis. So why do you not answer my question? If all these scientific facts are in the Koran why didnt Koranic scholars tell the scientists rather than wait til after the discovery then say it is in the Koran.
@Muslim Man. Lol. Come on be serious. Are you saying that your scholars are too busy interpreting to inform science what is said in the Koran. When the one thing that would prove to non-believers that the Koran is in fact true is to identify some of these miracles BEFORE science rather than after. You can go to any book in the world. Fact or fiction and say that some of the words may be interpreted in a particular way. The only valid test of a scripture is to say. This is what x means then wait for science to prove it. You are doing it the wrong way round which is why people are laughing at the Koran and Koranic scholars when you make these silly claims.
