Why does my Blu Ray not look as good as it does in the stores?
I just purchased a 50" Hitachi plasma 1080 (P50S601) and a Magnavox Blu-Ray player. I have it hooked up through a HDMI cable. I just watched Spiderman 3 on blu-ray and was disappointed with the quality of the picture. It was a better pitcure than my old set-up which was a 42" Panasonic plasma 720 and a DVD player but didn't have the "WOW" factor that I see in the Best Buy's and Circuit City's. Also, I don't know if I have the pitcure settings on the TV at the ideal setting. I was told to set (color, sharpness, etc..)in the middle and the contrast between 75-100.
