Why does my Creative Zen freeze up & not play music, then not turn off?

And what can I do to fix it? I press the little reset button, retry and yet it still does the same thing over again.

When I try to turn it off it stays frozen and cannot turn off until I either reset or let the battery run out.

I'm having the same problem with mine now...did you ever end up fixing it?
