Why does my Goldfish sit at the bottom of the tank?

I just recently bought a Panda Butterfly Goldfish from a fish store. (about 10 days ago) He wasn't cheap either. He's between two and three inches long. He seemed to be doing fine the first two days, but now all he does is sits behind a stump in my aquarium and only comes up to eat. He doesn't swim funny when he comes up to eat and swims around just fine with the other fish for a good ten minutes and then goes back to the bottom of the tank. I read about swim bladder disease and stopped feeding for two days to see if he was constipated. He doesn't look sick in anyway either. I also have done two twenty percent water changes to make sure the water was okay. I used a test strip and all the levels seem to be good too. I read somewhere that I should feed him shelled peas...does this work?

It's a 35 Gallon tank and I make sure I do a twenty percent transfer every week, but since I've had him I've done two.
There are only 4 Goldfish in the tank, One Ranchu that's his size and a Red Capped Oranda and Calico Fantail that are really small, maybe 1 inch tops. Could it be that he is just stressed?
what do you mean water parameters?
I want answers from individuals with experience please...not just random things off the top of your heads!!! Thank You!
I've talked to experienced people at the fish store and they said my tank set up is just fine as long as I had a good filter, which is rated for a 60 gallon tank. Goldfish need room to grow and clean water, but they are not elephants. Some people go a little overboard when they talk about how much space goldfish need. 35 Gallons is just fine. They are not big fish either. Thanks for the advice about the peas. Plus you asked if I cycled my tank and if you would have read the entire question you would have known I do it once a week normally and have done it twice since I bought the new fish.
