Why does my internet connection works on and off? Maybe the router?

In my computer upstair everything is fine, no problem with the internet connection there.

In my computer downstairs, the internet was working fine, but about a month ago, my connections works at times (a minute ok, the next minute I lose connetion, then good again, lose it again an so on)

My computer downstairs if fed by a router. This computer has this device connected in the back (a reciever of the router, I think), the model of this device in the back is:

WGDAB1V2 NETGEAR
00184D0AB20

S/N 1AC 165 BR 3644D

What can I do?
 
change ports on the router.

Plug you computer directly into the modem and see if you still get disconnects, if you do the problem is with your NIC, if not the issue is on the router
